Litrico Fashion House Awarded at Premio Margutta 2025: a Recognition of “Excellence in” Men’s High Tailoring

There are evenings that tell more than an event: they celebrate art, beauty, and Italian know-how.
The XXIV edition of the Premio Margutta, held in the evocative Via Margutta in Rome, was one of these extraordinary occasions.
For Litrico Fashion House, receiving such a prestigious recognition in the heart of the Italian cultural and artistic panorama represents a moment of profound pride and gratitude.

What is the Premio Margutta

The Premio Margutta was born in 2001 from an “idea of gallery owner Giovanni Morabito, with the” aim of celebrating Italian excellence in the fields of “art, culture, cinema, music, and fashion. Having reached its 24th edition in 2025, the award has established itself as one of the most anticipated events in the capital.
This” year saw Oscar-winning director Gabriele Salvatores as honorary president, while the hosting was entrusted to journalist and fashion reporter Valeria Oppenheimer.

The 2025 Edition: a Parade of Excellence

During the evening of June 13, Via Margutta transformed into a refined open-air catwalk. The event saw the presentation of the famous statuette – a work by artist Angela Pellicanò, symbol of creativity and intellectual fertility – to prominent figures in the cultural and artistic panorama:

  • Cinema: Marco Giallini, Beatrice Modica, Francesco Acquaroli
  • Culture and entrepreneurship: Roberto Sergio
  • Film production: Federica Lucisano
  • Radio: Fabio Arboit (Radio Capital)
  • Art: Renata Cristina Mazzantini (GNAM)
  • Fashion: Ettore Bilotta for “Women’s Haute Couture, and Litrico Fashion House for” Men’s Haute Couture.

Directed by Lugi Galasso, with live music by Viola Master Eduardo Caiazza, the Fashion section saw a parade of “women’s haute couture creations by Ettore Bilotta, creator of dream dresses and uniforms for the most prestigious international airlines, and on the” other side, iconic pieces from Litrico Fashion House, including gala dinner jackets and splendid embroidered capes, made with ancient Japanese fabrics, symbol of “Italian male elegance. The fashion show closed with a romantic ‘Bride and Groom’ tableau, a tribute to” Haute Couture, featuring a magnificent Wedding Dress decorated with silk thread embroidery by Maison Bilotta and an elegant Groom’s Morning Coat by Maison Litrico.

Among the models, Lavinia, daughter of Luca Litrico, also walked the runway wearing two stunning dresses.

Throughout its 24 editions, the Premio Margutta has celebrated personalities of great international stature, an recognition that each year unites different worlds through a single common thread: Excellence.

Our Gratitude

Being awarded for the “Men’s Haute Couture Tailoring” section means for us not only seeing the value of our work recognized, but also giving voice to a tailoring tradition that, since 1951, continues to grow with passion and vision.
We sincerely thank gallery owner Giovanni Morabito, the “organization of Premio Margutta, Valeria Oppenheimer, Luigi Galasso, Maestros Gabriele Salvatores and Eduardo Caiazza of the” Rai Symphony Orchestra and all those who made this evening of extraordinary harmony between art and style possible.

Italian Sartorial Craftsmanship in the World

At Litrico Fashion House, every suit is born from a precise idea: to enhance the uniqueness of the man who wears it.
Italian craftsmanship, and particularly bespoke tailoring, is one of our country’s most precious treasures. A treasure made of ancient gestures, yet always current; of knowledge handed down, but constantly renewed.

In 2008, the Ministry of Culture recognized Litrico Fashion House as a historic Maison of high prestige for Italian Men’s Haute Couture in the world and our Historical Archive was declared a cultural asset of particularly important national historical interest.
A recognition that honors us and commits us, every day, to represent true Italian bespoke tailoring in the world, but also proven evidence of the important mark left on the Italian Fashion landscape from the post-war period (1945) onwards.

A Recognition that Looks to the Future

The Premio Margutta 2025 inspires us to continue on the path of excellence with renewed inspiration.
We thank those who choose us, who support us, and who share with us the love for authentic beauty and the value of things made with care.
